Maria Ironside is this year’s co-recipient of the 2020 Alfred Pope Award.
The Alfred Pope Award is given annually by McLean Hospital to young investigators “in recognition of the publication of an exceptional peer-reviewed first-authored article on basic or clinical research performed at McLean Hospital.” Maria was selected based on her first authored reviewed publication, “Approach-Avoidance Conflict in Major Depressive Disorder: Congruent Neural Findings in Humans and Nonhuman Primates,” published in Biological Psychiatry.
Congratulations to Dr. Ironside for this well-deserved recognition.
