Research Interests
Abigail’s primary research interest is involves an exploration of how clinical diagnoses can impact cognitive processes, such as decision-making, memory encoding/retrieval, and visual processing. Specifically, she is intrigued by how depression and anxiety can correlate with differences in neural activity levels in relatively simple cognitive tasks. In her work, Abigail hopes to contribute to a greater understanding of the depressed and anxious brain, with the overarching goal of uncovering endophenotypes that could further improve our understanding of how best to treat these conditions.
