CDASR Openings

Post-doctoral Fellows

Although there are currently no open positions in the Laboratory for Affective and Translational Neuroscience for post-doctoral fellows, we always welcome applications from talented young scientists who have a specific interest in our work.  The laboratory, directed by Diego A. Pizzagalli, Ph.D., is part of the Center for Depression, Anxiety and Stress Research (CDASR), a vibrant research center that embraces a multi-disciplinary approach  (e.g., brain imaging, electrophysiology, clinical engagement, treatment efficacy) to improve our understanding of the psychological, environmental, and neurobiological factors associated with depression, anxiety and related disorders across the lifespan.

To apply, send a CV and a cover letter describing your research interests to David Crowley (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Student Visitors/Research Volunteers

Volunteer positions for the 2018-2019 academic year are available within the Laboratory for Affective and Translational Neuroscience, directed by Diego A. Pizzagalli, Ph.D. The laboratory is part of McLean Hospital’s Center for Depression, Anxiety and Stress Research, which is devoted to the study of depression, anxiety and related conditions. Volunteers will assist lab members utilizing various methodologies (e.g., brain imaging, electrophysiology, clinical interviews) to study emotional and cognitive processing in both healthy and psychiatric populations, primarily major depression. Both undergraduate students and recent college graduates are eligible.

Applicants should plan for 10 to 16 hours per week at the lab.  Students will receive a considerable amount of training, so preference is given to applicants who can return for more than one semester.

To apply, please fill out the application below and send it, along with a copy of your resume/CV and transcript, to David Crowley (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). Review of applications is ongoing.
